Statement
“My work draws its inspiration from the constantly changing urban landscape. As a visual artist the development and redevelopment or indeed the dilapidation of these architectural environments is of central interest to my artistic approach. The work develops out of a familiarity built up by repeated visits to specific urban spaces, which leave a memory and a personal attachment from which I can draw. It is this memory that creates the catalyst for the drawings and onto the process of re-drawing to produce object related, basic emblematic images, inaccessible in a less specified procedure.”
