Biography

Diana Copperwhite lives and works in Dublin. In 2012 she was a resident artist at the Josef Albers Foundation, Connecticut, USA. Copperwhite was awarded the AIB Art Prize in 2007 and she was a finalist in the Guasch Coranty Fundacio Painting Prize, Centre Cultural Metropolita, Barcelona (2008). Copperwhite has exhibited extensively in Ireland, Europe and New York, most recently at 532 Gallery Thomas Jaeckel, New York and Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Dublin. Her work is in many public and private collections including the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the Arts Council of Ireland, The Office of Public Works, and Mariehamn Stadbiblioteque, International Red Cross, Netherlands.
