Biography
Le Bas is a Dublin based visual artist who divides his time between painting walls and producing studio work. A background in architecture and graffiti have influenced his approach to painting. Le Bas’ paintings infuse a painterly abstraction with digitally produced images meticulously hand rendered to form a collage like aesthetic.
Undergraduate project nominated by college faculty for RIBA Bronze Medal in 2014. Commissioned by numerous well known companies to produce bespoke art work. Clients include, Heineken, Facebook, Bank of Ireland, Adidas. Commissioned by Facebook as part of their ‘Artist in Residence’ program to create a large mural in their European HQ in Dublin 2015. Commissioned by Facebook to create a mural in their London office, 2016. Artist assistant to many well known Irish artists. 2008 – 2016
